Cafergot

Cafergot Cafergot (also known as Caffeine/Ergotamine) is prescribed for the patients predisposed to suffering from kinds of migraines and headaches, including histaminic cephalalgia. The drug is an absolutely safe FDA approved solution recommended for persons older than 18.

Take Cafergot by mouth with a glass of water; to avoid feeling unwell, experience nausea or other adverse events take Cafergot with food. Cafergot does not need to be taken regularly if not otherwise stated by your health care specialist. However, if your case needs day-by-day tablet therapy, do not break the dosing schedule even if you feel better. Keep on taking Cafergot at the same time each day to minimize the possibility of forgetting to take your next scheduled dose of the drug.

Mind that eating grapefruit or drinking grapefruit juice can interfere with the effects of Cafergot. As a rule, if a pill of Cafergot is taken timely, that is as soon as you feel the first signs of migraine, the pill is bound to produce almost immediate effect. However, of one tablet did not act is it should have, take another dose of the drug but no sooner than 30 minutes after the first pill.
